What is collected

What is public

Your driver name, picture and distance are shown to other players. Deposits, withdrawals and purchases are recorded on the Base blockchain, which is public and permanent. Images you upload may be stored on IPFS, which is public.

Who else is involved

Google (sign-in and Google Analytics for visit statistics), Discord (if you link it), Hetzner (hosting), Cloudflare (in front of the site), the Base network and its providers, IPFS, Nightride FM (the radio stream, loaded from their servers when you play music) and the news publishers whose stories appear in the reader. No advertising trackers or analytics services are used.

Cookies and storage

Your browser stores your session, settings and car choices. Google Analytics counts visits (pages, country, device and browser) with a cookie; it does not store your IP address. Nothing else is used to track you across other sites.

Keeping and deleting

Account data is kept while your account exists. Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete it. Records on the blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone. Ledger records of tokens may be kept as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion or restriction, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
